laneMy brother FINALLY fullfilled a lifelong dream of his…attending a Washington Redskins football game!  With my help!  I was so glad that I was able to help him fullfill this dream and he had a blast!!!  Not only did he get to go…but his friend got them into the VIP Bud Light area!  How awesome!  The Redskins lost, but he got to go none the less.

Lane and I are finally getting on the same page with each other.  Lane and I, younger years. As kids, we fought…a lot.  I mean a LOT!  It was mostly my fault and I admit…I wasn’t a good big sister.  I always thought that by “beating up the kid who beat up my brother” I was doing my part.  All that got me was beat up by the sister of the boy who beat up my brother.  :)   Needless to say it took me a LONG time to learn how to be a big sister.  laneandiUnfortunately, it took Lane moving away for me to appreciate the relationship we could have.  I have learned so much from him…patience and not to take things so seriously.  We have come a LONG way in the passed year or two and I am so glad to have my baby brother and be able to support, encourage and love him!  Oh…and give him Redskins tickets!

And for Reality TV…

I remember watching Real World San Franciso with my mom where Pedro Zamora broke new ground in television.  Real World was this crazy new phenomenon where real people are having their lives taped all the time.  It was new, exciting and fresh!  Now…it’s EVERYWHERE!!!  Once it started, it steamed rolled and I rebelled against it!  As long as I possibly could.

It started innocent enough with shows like Survivor and Road Rules and then…I made the mistake of catching Rock Of Love with Brett Michaels.  Now…let me just say something in defense of myself…it was entertaining…and made me feel SO much better about myself because I’m not a crazy b***h.  Then it hit me, the reality tv bug.  The urge to watch all raunchy reality tv shows where has-been celebrities try to get back in the limelight by having a contest for desperate women who want to be noticed so badly they will do whatever it takes to get attention.  And tv networks do it for people like me!  People like me who love to watch the train wreck (No Jay, not THAT kind of train wreck) that people put themselves in…the fights, the drama, the sex and the crazy crying!  Im ashamed to say that THESE are the shows I have watched with much enjoyment!

  • Tool Academy
  • Americas Next Top Model (not raunchy but still crazy)
  • Project Runway
  • My Antonio
  • For The Love of Ray J
  • The TO Show

Ok so they aren’t ALL has been love competitions…but you get my point.

All this to say?

For the Love of Ray J is coming back on and I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited about it!  Man I’m a loser!  Don’t know why I like his show so much…I think because he’s really funny.  Anyways, he’s back…
